Our Breeding Program
Our puppies leave here spoiled and well socialized. Our puppies also leave here with dewclaws removed, vet checked, wormed several times, current vaccinations and a written health guarantee. Our puppies stay with their littermates for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Most of our puppies are sold as pets, with no breeding rights. On occasion, we have placed our pups with Full AKC to breeders that share our similar breeding principles. The decision to place with Full AKC is solely at my discretion.
About Us
My family and I have owned a Shih Tzu since 2007. After studying the breed and with the help of fellow Shih Tzu mentors, I started my breeding program in 2011.
We are located in the Midwest between two major cities, Springfield, IL and St. Louis, MO.
Our dogs live in the home with us as part of the family. Our dogs are considered pets first.
I will not sell to puppy mills, pet shops, large-scale breeders, puppy brokers and/or pet flippers!
About the Breed
The Shih Tzu is a sturdy, lively, alert toy dog with long flowing double coat. Befitting his noble Chinese ancestry as a highly valued, prized companion and palace pet, the Shih Tzu is proud of bearing, has a distinctively arrogant carriage with head well up and tail curved over the back.
